International Pharmaceutical Student’s Federation (IPSF) is the leading international advocacy group for pharmacy students and recent graduates promoting improved public health through the provision information, education, networking and a range of publications and professional initiatives .IPSF currently represents about 313 000 members from over 80 countries around the world. The federation is a non-profit, non-political and non-religious organization divided into five regions APRO, EMRO, PARO, EURO, and AFRO (Our own African Regional Office). The main objective of IPSF is to promote the exchange of ideas by international correspondence and by encouraging full dissemination of scientific and professional knowledge. Activities run by IPSF include: Public Health Campaigns, Professional Development Events, Moving on Education Research, Student Exchange Programs, Leadership training, World Congresses and Regional Symposia. Currently the African Regional Office consists of 10 member countries Zimbabwe being one of them represented by the Zimbabwe Pharmaceutical Students Association (ZPSA)


Zimbabwe Pharmaceutical Students Association (ZPSA) is a non-political, non-religious and non-profit making organization that represents pharmacy students and recent pharmacy graduates across Zimbabwe. ZPSA currently has a membership of over 80% of the pharmacy students in Zimbabwe. Its vision is to be a body that represents world class students with a wide intellect base and sound social upbringing for the benefit of the future of Pharmacy. The association’s mission is to promote the future of the profession through continually improving the learning environment and providing a conduit for local and international interaction between pharmaceutical students, professionals, the general public and other stakeholders. ZPSA also aims to develop innovative professionals with critical thinking skills, a sense of solidarity, a willingness to co-operate with colleagues and other health professionals, a professional identiy, and character consistent with high ethical principles..
